LOCAL NONPROFIT HAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO HIT THE JACKPOT

To celebrate National Lottery Day this Sunday, July 17, operator of Arizona’s largest dispensary will exchange a pre-rolled joint for Mega Million tickets or Powerball tickets for Monday, Wednesday and Saturday drawings and Tuesday & Thursday for Mega Million tickets, and give all tickets/winnings to Cloud Covered Streets.

WHAT: Every Powerball & Mega Million player in Arizona who purchases a lottery ticket for Monday, Wednesday and Saturday’s or Tuesday and Thursdays drawing can walk away with something, and have an opportunity to pay it forward, thanks to the operator of the largest dispensary in the state.

In honor of National Lottery Day this Sunday, July 17th, The Mint will collect Powerball & Mega Million Lottery tickets for the July 25th, July 27th and July 30th Powerball drawings and Mega Millions drawing on July 26th and July 29th at its three dispensaries. It will then give all tickets/winnings to Cloud Covered Streets, a Phoenix-based nonprofit that provides the homeless with haircuts, showers, laundry services, food, clothing, and water.

Anyone 21 years of age and older can trade in a valid Powerball or Mega Millions ticket for the lottery drawings at any one of Mint Cannabis’ three Valley dispensaries in exchange for one pre-rolled joint. Tickets cannot have been redeemed; tickets for the July 25th, July 26th, July 27th, July 29th and July 30th drawings must be traded in before 8:58 p.m. MST on their respective draw date. Trade-ins will be accepted up until 8:58 p.m. MST on Saturday, July 30, which is the last day of the trade-in campaign.

You can trade in your Powerball and Mega Millions ticket for this coming week’s drawings at any one of the Mint’s three dispensaries in metropolitan Phoenix. This includes its flagship location in Tempe/Guadalupe (5210 S. Priest Drive, 85283), and its retail locations in Mesa (330 E. Southern Ave., 85210) and Phoenix (17036 N. Cave Creek Road, 85032).

 

All tickets / winnings will be donated to Cloud Covered Streets, a Phoenix-nonprofit that helps the homeless.

HOW: Tickets for the  Powerball:  July 25th, July 27th and July 30th   Mega Millions: July 26th and July 29th drawing can be traded in for a pre-rolled joint now through 8:58 p.m. on respective draw date at any Mint dispensary location in Arizona.
 
Note:
Powerball tickets for the July 25th drawing must be traded in by 8:59pm July 25th. Powerball tickets for the July 27th drawing must be traded in by 8:59pm July 27th.
Powerball tickets for the July 30th drawing must be traded in by 8:59pm July 30th.
Mega Millions tickets for the July 26th drawing must be traded in by 8:59pm July 26th.
Mega Millions July 29th drawing must be traded in by 8:59pm July 29th.
 
To participate, you must be 21 years of age or older and you can only trade in one ticket per person at any one of three Mint locations in Phoenix, Mesa, or Tempe/Guadalupe for the duration of the campaign. Acceptance of the pre-roll from the Mint in exchange for a Powerball ticket for the noted drawing constitutes your relinquishment of the ticket and/or any winnings from the ticket. All tickets/winnings will be donated to Cloud Covered Streets, a Phoenix-nonprofit that helps the homeless.
